Main purpose
Assist in the assembly, installation, and maintenance of mechanical systems under the guidance of experienced Fitters at Thungela. Participate in hands-on training to develop skills in fitting, alignment, and equipment maintenance. Support the team in ensuring all mechanical work complies with Thungela's safety and quality standards. Learn to diagnose and repair mechanical faults in a mining environment.
